Welcome to the 2009 – 2010 Nease Panther basketball website. A new era begins with the introduction of new coach, Scott Cooper. Coach Cooper is the fourth coach to walk the sidelines in Nease High School history. Coach Cooper follows Coach Barry Craig, Coach Bud Beech, and Coach Koran Godwin as Nease head coaches.
Nease High School is ranked by Newsweek Magazine as the 92nd best public school in the country academically. This puts Nease High School in the top 3% of public schools nationwide. Along with the amazing academic programs Nease High School offers, NHS athletic teams have combined to win state championships in many sports, including Boy’s Basketball. In 2008 Nease High School won the both the boy’s and girl’s Dodge Sunshine Cup for having the top athletic program in the state of Florida (class 4A). Overall, Nease High School is recognized across the state and nation as one of the best academic and athletic institutions! We are proud to be Panthers. WE ARE NEASE!
